I live in Tuscola Texas, just off highway 83. I work as a state ranger, which I do a 2 day shift, as we rarely get any trouble around there. I was driving home from work yesterday evening, between rows of trees, no more than a mile from my house. My radio was buzzing as it usually does. My marshal calling into me now and then, and the beating of my wind screen wipers, which were wiping the dust which was blasting up onto my wind screen. My gun was holstered, a Glock 21, 9mm. All I could remember was that I was hot, and tired. I turned into a slight bend when I saw this black object cross my path, I stopped the car, turned on the wipers once more to wipe the dust from the wind screen, and I saw a dog. A hairless dog. I don't know whether it was a trick of the mind, but it's eyes were glowing mild red, not a strong red, a mild cinnamon brownish red color. I took out my pistol, as we're all told to shoot wild dogs, as most of the people in this area keep chickens and poultry. I opened the door of my car, and as the top of the door blocked my view, I couldn't see for a split second, when I stand up fully, the dog is no more than a few feet away. It's eyes are not glowing now, but it looks more like a hairless greyhound. It stand on it's rear legs, and hisses. I pull the trigger 8 times into it's chest. All I could remember then was blood which seemed to flow endlessly under my car. The dogs head was facing towards my right, I ducked under the roof of my car to tell my marshal I'd killed some sort of wild dog, when I stood up again, it's head was facing left. I slammed the door so hard, locked them, and sped off down that road, I didn't stop till I got home, my wife is worried about me, as I'm very shaken up recently, I've taken a few sleeping pills to keep me sleeping. I don't want to tell her what I saw, as I do not want to worry her, we all have heard of chupacabras around Texas, they're a famous blood sucking dog to remind you again, please, any answers would be great, just take the stress off my mind.

Please do some meditative thinking regarding this and see what you can come up with, then I will be better able to help you. I need help because now I owe them rent and IRS sent my return for this debt, I have no way of paying my landlord! But if your relative does get better, then it means it was part of God's plan. So what's the point of praying if God's plan will inevitably happen anyway? Which rifle would be a better survival gun?

I have an Enfield 1917 as well, that I use for elk hunting. However, if I wouldn't carry it unless I intend to shoot an elk. It's too heavy for a survival gun, and the rounds are too big and powerful for what I would likely use a survival rifle for. I would lean towards the lever gun- you can buy lightweight, cheap, and low recoiling .38 rounds for light game, and .357 for heavy game. It will be plenty powerful enough for what you describe, and the rounds are smaller and lighter than the rifle calibers. Also, in the future, you could carry your revolver, and only need one type of ammunition.

Okay, so my old straightener isn't really working that great and i was thinking of getting a new one for next year. Okay, this is a really long story, so if youre a troll don't bother reading this. Last year in Home Ec, this one kid would talk to me relentlessly and call me gorgeous. I don't know why, because back in grade eight, I was known as the weird "wannabe" popular chick with the funky bob haircut and coordinating shoes and necklaces, and to top it all off, I wore gles. Anyways, this kid called me gorgeous for no apparent reason. Then, the semester change came and we were off to Video Production. I don't know why, but this cl made us closer and we became actual friends. His flirting advanced to almost creeper behaviour, and he would ask me out on a day to day basis. When the year was over and summer vacation had arrived, we were texting almost every night about serious topics, and he said he wanted to go out with me. I umed he was joking so I just said no. With the strart of our ninth grade year, we had obviously became much closer, and it didn't exactly take a rocket scientist to figure it out. As the year progressed, he kept asking me out, and finally (because admittedly I was pretty in love with him by this point,) I agreed to date him. We kept it a secret for the first couple of months (for reasons that Im not going to explain right now,) but recently we decided to tell everyone. Odd 2 1/2 year old tantrums?

My son is a sweet, mellow, reasonable little guy. For the past week, however, he has had several really scary meltdowns over "nothing" - tonight, for instance, I calmly told him not to throw a toy. He got so angry that he didn't know what to do with himself - he was writhing on the floor screeching and crying. He didn't want me to touch him - kept saying "no, momma". Nothing helped - the more I talked to him the angrier he got, and he didn't want me to hold him but he also didn't want to be put down. He kept walking from room to room (or while I was carrying him pointing all over the house wanting me to go there). He didn't know WHAT he wanted. I finally just put him in the bathtub and he calmed down (after throwing a few bath toys in anger). I thought he was going to hurt himself the whole time - he slammed his knees on the floor, etc. Does this sound familiar? Should I be worried? His meltdowns are so frequent and not because he isn't getting something he wants - I honestly don't know why he's so upset. He's good at communicating - it isn't that kind of frustration. He is scary to watch - like a little caged/enraged animal. Any thoughts? Thanks!

music is my life. i play guitar(almost 2 years) plus tenor and bari sax(5 years, but thats only at school, cant afford to buy/rent one) im always listening to music and ive started to try to do a little composing. i want to keep pursuing music and i would really like to make a carrer of it. so im wondering if anyone has any suggestions for music majors/careers. i dont think i want to teach music, at least not at a school. i would like to do something more hands on. performing would be fun, but lets face it, being rockstar is a little impractical. i could just keep music as a hobby and do something else, but the thought of working in music as a career is thrilling to me. so, any ideas, thoughts, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. im a sophmore in highschool, so ive definetly got time to change my mind, but still, this is what i like, so ya know. also, im sick of my dad shitting all over the idea everytime i bring it up, so id like to have a lil something to back my idea. thanx

Take a good look at the replay wherever you've been viewing them from the conclusion of the game to now. When Fitzgerald brings the ball in, he sort of twists it away from the defender. The nose of the ball clearly (at least to me) definitely nicked, if not touched, the ground. There was no question he caught & maintained control of the ball, but even with this in mind, if it even so much as grazes the gr/turf, it's incomplete. Did anyone but me notice this?

Is my husband ruining our turkey? Need help ASAP, please!!?

My husband just got our frozen turkey and he wants to soak it in a brine. Before soaking it in the brine, he says that he needs to thaw it out in 4 hours or so. Why does my shower have low water pressure and how can I fix it?

I'm a college student and recently moved into a new place. The house has one shower with low pressure. All the other water outlets in the house seem to be normal (sinks, toilet, etc.), but this one shower is really bad. The house is pretty old and there is no real shower head. I have lived a life full of twist, turns, and mental and physical abuse (mostly mental). I was basically an innocent child up until High School, when my emotions started pouring out in reaction to the severe abuse I had faced until then and even throughout High School. And please, PLEASE, do not judge me for the things of which I am about to release. During High school, I had very awful depression and anger problems. At some points in my HS career, I was in such depression I attempted suicide....TWICE. When I was angry, I was ANGRY. Most of the time, I never acted upon such anger. i would sit in my room for hours at a time, doing nothing but listening to music ( and not just metal, but clical as well) fantasizing about basically destroying the world, torturing people, killing people, even my own girlfriend. Now, of course, I have just completed my freshman year of college. I guess you could say that I am pretty much like every college student on the outside. I am most likely pledging with a fraternity this fall. I take pride in what I do. I was a member of the marching band during football season, when we pummeled the bands of LSU, and other great colleges. I'm a math major, and a dual minor in both physics and computer Sciences. But, underneath it all, I feel like something is wrong. My girlfriend of 10 months has even began to notice. I can literally be completely happy one minute, sit down, and start shouting in anger the next, usually followed by depression of a non suicidal level. At night at times, when I am relaxed, my brain is still very much alive. It is at these times, and sometimes even during the day itself, that I feel another person altogether trying to come out. I feel unnecessarily paranoid at times. When I am in the shower, i can barely close my eyes for I feel as though something is going to attack me. When I do close my eyes, I am sometimes afraid to open them in fear of seeing something unnatural standing before me. I will restate, as a closing statement, that when I feel emotions, they are normally exaggerated. Also, I have problems clearing my mind of morbid thoughts at night. I will sometimes be subjected to dark, evil images and ideas against my conscious will and, as I stated before, have a hard time clearing my head of such.I am actually beginning to feel slightly afraid of even myself at times. I will admit that these symptoms do not occur all the time, but only from time to time. I feel as though I may be suffering from mania, but i am not quite sure. US citizen marrying a Canadian citizen?

Here's the deal: I plan to marry my fiance, who is Canadian, while she visits me in the US. (She will tell the border officials that she is just coming down for "a visit.") After the marriage, she will stay with me and we will submit the I-130, I-485 & I-765 doents (among others). Technically, as a Canadian, she is legally allowed to stay in the US for 6 months without a visa. We're banking on at least the I-130 & the I-765 (employment authorization) to have been processed by then (which is why we are byping the I-129F application). Am I missing something here??? Besides the fact that she wouldn't be telling them at the border that she's coming down to get married, does it sound like we're good to go on this? Fear of heights. am I getting better?

Okay, I have to walk about a mile to a job on certain days. I have to cross over this bridge that a high way runs under it. Why can't I understand group conversation?

I have a bit of an issue I've had all my life. I'm 22 now but when I was a kid I was extremely shy. I have since broken this tendency an am now fearless to engage in conversation but the problem is I can't. I can engage in conversation with one other person and be ok, but I can't engage in a "give and take" within a group of people. Honestly, I often just do not understand conversation, too many things are happening at once. Subsequently I come off as rude and stand offish. Do I have a learning disability of some sort? Anyone have any ideas? Alcohol has allowed me to be more open but can't solve the problem, actually it makes it worse so I don't feel its shyness.

I know it's not much to go on but I remember it taking place primarily in a high school and it had a lot of comedy in it, which for me was odd because I navigate towards just violence or story. Why do my hands cramp when I become overheated?

I've been in a Sweat Lodge about 15 times, and twice, my hands cramped shut. I've recently started Bikram Yoga, and I've experienced the same symptoms. My husband and I get his son every other weekend. The boy is 5 and still sleeps in bed with mom. Yes, It was a great time. Was happy to be witness to the jump. There was a big turn out at the park, before the jump they had skydivers glide in one had the american flag beneath him. What is the squishy "sack" on the back of my cat's hind leg?

I just noticed that my cat is "squishy" behind one of his back legs. He is a Maine Coon cat, so he is very fluffy esp in the back leg/tail area, so I can't really tell if there is an actual sack there. But I don't think so. I felt both back legs at the same time, it the leg I'm referring to didn't seem to be bigger than the other, just the flesh was squishy. I didn't press on it, but when touching it, my cat made no reaction of pain or anything. He had a pretty bad back leg injury several yrs ago, and he is 10, so he does have a bit of what I thought was arthitus- if he lands the wrong way after jumping, for instance, he is in pain for a few mins. But in general he is not in pain, these instances are few and far between. What could the squishy-ness be? Just some more info- he has hyper thyroid (I don't think that matters at all- but just some more info)

Cards from the mid 80's and earlier are alot rarer and worth more in comparison to cards since then because of the large amount of cards that were made and collected. What is this bump on my lower eyelid?

ok, i know what a stye looks like, and this is not what a normal stye looks like. it is just barely inside my lower eyelid.....actually on the inside/rim of the lower lid. it has been there for about a year. i think it might be a clogged follicle or something. it looks like a grey splinter kind of, but with no protruding end. it has gotten larger, not by much, but larger just the same. at this rate it could continue to grow if i don't take action. but what action do i take? what is this thing? i know what a chalazion is, and i don't think that this is one.......but i don't really know. any help would be more help than i can find using google. thanks in advance

Can I mix a tiny bit of milk with catfood to coax my cat into eating?

My sister's cat is getting kind of skinny although she does eat and is starting to take some if in small pieces. However, I want her to eat more because she is getting thin. Since she really likes milk (she's only had some when it fell on the floor or when she snuck it from my cereal bowl) I was wondering if I could put a small portion like a few drops or half a teaspoon into her food. I would then add the chicken broth from when I heat it up (warm enough but not too hot, of course) so that she would think it's all milk. Would that work? Or would that just give her a stomach ache and make her sick? I try to stop her from drinking spilled milk but she really likes the stuff and hasn't gotten sick once. It's only happened two or three times though and few and far between. I was just wondering if that would work. Any thoughts?

I feel guilty each time when I sing a song, I lower the key a little because I am naturally an alto, so I couldn't get my key to go up too high without hurting my voice. I would like to think that the song still sounds nice because it is in a key that is better suited for MY voice and MY abilities as a singer (and I am less likely to go off pitch when I sing inside my range), but I still can't help but feel like it's cheating to sing a song in a lower key than in the original song. Also, when people listen to a really good singer, they get the "goosebumps" and a chilly feeling. But I notice that often happens when there are high notes or a crescendo in a song, Is it still possible to bring out that chilly feeling in people if I sing the same song in a lower key?
