I just purchased 2 blackberry's from a website, it says they are triband?

they are not for me, is there a way to tell what company or companies the phones will work with if it says this information about them: Tri-Band handheld, operates on 900/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS wireless networks. Thanks!
