What kind of tree should we plant?

I live in Rochester Hills Michigan and have two suggestions for you. First . . . my new favorite tree is the Catalpa. Research it on-line . . . beautiful huge leaves !!! Second, any type of pine tree. We have 22 mature trees on our property and we are planting more this fall. We decided on pine trees for several reasons. 1. They are fast growers. 2. They look nice in the winter and summer . . . and they provide much needed green in the winter. 3. The provide privacy in the winter and summer. 4. They don't leave in the fall so alot easier to maintain. Hope you enjoy the beautiful Michigan fall !!!!
