Do I have allergies or am I sick?

This just kicked in yesterday I have a slight sore throat more itchy than anything. Stuffy nose, runny nose, itchy nose. Clear drainage. I have never had a problem with allergies before. But I have read that you can develop them as an adult. I'm starting to question if this is a cold cause my Sudafed & echinacea isn't working yet & it usually already kicks in a little bit....what do you think is going on??
