What's the difference between Tabs and Chords ?

i really love playing guitar .. i'm still practicing on a clical guitar .. i played some stuff and ppl seem to like it but i tought myself how to play guitar .. with no teachers or even a friend and i'm happy with how i've became but there's this thing that really makes me wonder .. i think tabs is more difficult than chords but i wanna know what's the difference =) thnx alot
