before you drill any holes in a concrete wall, check with your landlord first. once the hole is there, its pretty much there forever. you will probably get charged a damage fee. that said, depending on the weight, you can use several types of fasteners. for light weight items, the plastic wedge type with a screw will suffice, heavy items will require lead anchors with lag screws. your local hardware store can direct you to the best type for your application.
