What is this bump on my lower eyelid?

ok, i know what a stye looks like, and this is not what a normal stye looks like. it is just barely inside my lower eyelid.....actually on the inside/rim of the lower lid. it has been there for about a year. i think it might be a clogged follicle or something. it looks like a grey splinter kind of, but with no protruding end. it has gotten larger, not by much, but larger just the same. at this rate it could continue to grow if i don't take action. but what action do i take? what is this thing? i know what a chalazion is, and i don't think that this is one.......but i don't really know. any help would be more help than i can find using google. thanks in advance
